As we head into summer, the Mintlayer team continues building momentum across every layer of the ecosystem. From expanding developer tools to enhancing wallet capabilities, this month’s updates lay the groundwork for broader adoption and smoother dApp integrations.

SDK & Dev Tools

We’re excited to announce the release of the Mintlayer JavaScript SDK and React Layer — essential tools for web developers looking to build dApps on Mintlayer. This SDK makes it easy to connect to Mojito Wallet, sign transactions, and build custom features.

Token Factory

Token Factory interface is nearing completion, which will give users a streamlined interface to create, mint and manage tokens easily. Wallet integration is currently in progress, enabling secure signing and issuance directly through Mojito Wallet once completed. 

Mojito Wallet Updates

• Browser Extension: Now supports connections to dApps, enabling deeper interaction with Mintlayer-native applications. Additional improvements are in progress to enhance UX and performance.
• Mobile App: While there were no major changes this month, key refactoring and performance optimizations are underway. The next release is expected in late June.

DEX Integration & Beta Testing

Beta testing is ongoing to streamline future DEX integrations, laying the groundwork for a more flexible and efficient ecosystem of trading interfaces for BTC cross-chain swaps.

Core Node Progress

Work continues on the next Core Node release, which will introduce several enhancements to Testnet. While not finalized yet, this new version is expected to launch in the coming months.
